"At first, I was really skeptical about actually doing an act of kindness. I was scared and embarrassed. Every time I would get in line somewhere or I would buy food I would think about the Love Revolution but I would always make excuses about why not to do anything. Finally the other night I went into the Royal Farms to pick up a few things. Love Revolution was really laying heavy on my heart and I was thinking about how cool it would to pay for someone to get gas in their car. Instead of approaching someone, I went inside and bought a gift card. I went back to my car, filled it out, and stuck a Love Revolution card in it. I went back inside and asked the girl working at the register to give it to the next customer, and then I left. I never realized what an effect it would have on me! It made my day and changed my whole attitude! I drove away with a huge smile on my face! I want to encourage other people to just do random acts of kindness! It blessed me so much and I wasn't even receiving anything! I had to step out of my comfort so and it was completely worth it! "
"Something caught my eye on the Love Revolution idea list that struck a cord with me. Several years ago, I worked for a local company providing the billing for their childcare services. I was well aware that there were many struggling parents out there who could use some additional help with paying for their childcare. The company that I worked for does not have a childcare facility in this part of the county, so I decided to go to a daycare center in Essex that I knew had previously provided childcare for people in our congregation. I walked in and explained that I wanted to write 2 checks to assist with childcare for 2 single moms that may be struggling to pay their childcare. I gave them the love revolution cards and asked them to pass it along to those parents. What a blessing it was to walk out of that building this morning. I'm praying that the Lord continues to provide so that I can go back in 2 weeks and do it again! "
"I was in a local drive-thru and when I went to the window to pay, I asked if I could also pay for the order behind me. The employee looked at me kinda funny and asked if I knew them - when I said "No" - she smiled and said - "Why would you do that" - I explained the Love Revolution concept. She thought it was way cool she said "maybe that person will pay for the person behind them and it will keep going and going!" - She was very excited to give the card to the car behind me. So I think I may have touched 2 people with one "hit"! I have to say that this was the 2nd drive thru that I went to - because when I went to the first one - there was nobody behind me!"
"We were on our way home from a funeral and we had to go over the Key Bridge. It just happened to be that I remembered to bring my Love Revolution cards, so I decided to pay the 2 dollar toll. I had my dad give the money and the card to the cashier. I couldn't see their face, but I really think the car behind us enjoyed a blessing.
God Bless You All"
"After church I went to Wendy's to get lunch for Bet and myself. I gave the lady

today."
"I went to lunch, and the waitress did a great job. So when the check came I gave the young lady a 100 percent tip with a Love Revolution card."
"We went through the Harbor Tunnel Wednesday evening and paid for the vehicle in back of us. The toll attendant smiled as he briefly read the card and acknowledged to give the card to the recipient in back of us. Then I sped off :)"
"My Mom and I was at 7 eleven,I was at atm machine, this gentleman walked in and said,I will give anyone here five dollars if you will give me a ride to Middlesex shopping center.(3 blocks away) he missed his bus. No one paid attention to him,I followed him out and he started walking away,I said sir I will give you a ride,he said you will?? I said sure!!!! I asked him where he was going said he was going to try and catch the bus from the shopping center to social services in Essex, I said I am going that way I'd be glad to drop you off,He was happy. His name is Carl, he lives in the area maybe in his 30es He tried to give me 5 dollars ,I wouldn't take it instead I handed him a Love resolution card and told him to come visit our church,he kept saying thank you God Bless you, said he was gonna keep the card forever!! What a Blessing!!!!!!!!!"
"I was in the drive thru line at my favorite fast food restaurant when I decided to pay for the person behind me. The young lady who took my money was blessed and I assume the person behind me appreciated a free meal! Go God, go Chick-Fil-A! :-)"
"Wasn't sure how to get this whole thing started, so I went anonymous. I bought some eggs at the store and left them and the card with cashier to pass along to the next needy family. Hoping someone responds online. "
"After church on Sunday, a few of the family from LBC went to White Marsh mall and had lunch together. As I sat looking around I noticed a couple with two small children discussing lunch plans and the children kept eyeing the merry-go-round. I purchased 2 tokens, gave them to the couple with the Love Revolution card and after a "Thank You" I said "You're
Welcome." Very simple - spur of the moment - and easy. Thank you Pastor Bobby for paying for my daughter to ride the merry-go-round and in a way inspiring and funding my ability to spread the love."
